Our comfortable, fully furnished studio rooms are purposefully designed to make life as easy as possible so you can focus on exploring Sydney rather than worrying about rent or utility bills. This means that fresh linen, high-speed WiFi, cleaning supplies and utilities are all wrapped up in one simple monthly fee. Our communal areas provide a great space for you to get acquainted with your neighbours.
At ume, you’ll also have a dedicated Community Host who will go above and beyond to ensure that you feel welcome and comfortable in your new home.
Your Community Host will organise exclusive ume social events, designed to help you grow your Sydney community and make lifelong memories.

Your Community Host will act as a friendly face throughout your stay, supporting your live-in experience at ume and introducing you to all of the local hot spots.

General housekeeping
While you’re in charge of your studio, we’ll make sure that the communal spaces are clean and as inviting as possible for you. We’ll also take out the garbage daily and gladly collect your mail at the front door.
Social events
Each ume Community Host organises engaging social events designed to get you out of your shell. Think community dinners, yoga lessons, movie nights, trivia nights and even the occasional gin blending workshop.
Curated communal spaces
Cook dinner in the community kitchen, share a meal in the dining room, unwind in the gaming room or plug away in our coworking room. Our communal areas provide a great space for you to get acquainted.
Fresh linen & onsite laundry
We make things easy with fresh linen available for purchase. We also have a community laundry room where you can wash and iron your clothes for a small additional cost.

At ume, you don’t sign a traditional ‘lease’, you buy into a membership. By becoming an ume member, you’re signing up for a housing subscription that is all-inclusive; that means utilities, WiFi, furniture, appliances, kitchen supplies, cleaning suppliers and maintenance, on-site laundry, community host, monthly social events… All basics you would need when moving into a new place are taken care of.
The membership application fee is $50 per application and is only payable at the time of application prior to moving in. Ume’s membership application fees are non-refundable. Residents wanting to extend or transfer to a different ume property do not require to pay an application fee. Applicants must pay the membership application fee to be considered. If you fail to pay the fees, your application might not be accepted.
